The Texas Rangers announced Wednesday they have traded pitcher Kevin Millwood
to the Baltimore Orioles.
The trade includes cash considerations to Baltimore for pitcher Chris Ray and
a player to be named later.
34-year-old Millwood was 13-10 with a 3.67 ERA in 31 games as a starter for
the Rangers in 2009. He spent 4 years with the team, signing with them for
a 5-year deal in 2005 from the Cleveland Indians.
28-year-old Ray has a 4.11 career ERA in 4 years as a relief pitcher with
the Orioles.
