Oasis to play their first-ever gigs in South Africa
21 January 2009
Always keen to explore new countries and venues Oasis will be playing
their first-ever gigs in South Africa this April. Their inaugural dates
will be:
10th April, 2009 - Newmarket Racecourse, Johannesburg
13th April, 2009 - Cape Town Ostrich Farm, Cape Town
Both dates are part of the Coca Cola Zero Fest, which they are headlining.
The tickets go on sale from 9am (local time) on Friday 23rd January from
Computicket and 083 915 8000.
The gigs are part of their largest-ever World Tour which so far has seen
them play Canada, United States, UK, Mexico and Western Europe. The tour
will also be taking them to the far east including dates in Japan, China
and South Korea.
