Noel's ￡14m Wonderwall-et January 08, 2007 NOEL GALLAGHER has revealed the extent of his wealth for the first time. The moneybags OASIS songwriter blurted out in an interview that he’s got ￡14MILLION stashed away in the bank. And that doesn’t include his other investments such as posh properties in London, Manchester and Ibiza. Asked whether he is losing interest in the music business, Noel admitted: “Yeah. But at the last count, I’ve got 14million quid in the bank account — that keeps me interested.” Then, regretting the slip, he hastily joked: “By the way, if anyone’s reading this — particularly the Inland Revenue — I haven’t got 14million in the bank . . . not in cash anyway.” Bit too late for that, I think Noel . . . Money matters are very much on Noel’s mind at the moment, with Oasis currently free of any record label contract — and thinking of staying that way in order to keep more profits on their music sales. He explained: “We could stay independent and instead of getting one Pound for every record sold we could get 15, or whatever. “We’ll see what happens.
