─ 又要多一对名人夫妻了： Pete and Kate! Kate is marrying Doherty PETE DOHERTY and KATE MOSS are getting married at the ultimate rock ’n’ roll wedding venue. They will tie the knot at Marylebone Register Office in London because of its rich musical history. Many famous couples have taken their vows in ceremonies in the old Marylebone town hall, now officially called Westminster Register Office. PAUL McCARTNEY married Linda there in 1969. And Oasis singer LIAM GALLAGHER wed PATSY KENSIT there in 1997. Kate and Pete are yet to set a date but have discussed a Christmas wedding or January 16 — Kate’s 33rd birthday. The couple have spent barely a moment apart since Pete left rehab at The Priory clinic earlier this month. They were spotted eyeing up engagement rings in Florence, Italy, last week. And Kate has since been pictured wearing a new sparkler on her engagement finger. A pal told me: “Kate and Pete have decided where they will get married and they are close to finalising when. “They had considered various options, including a wedding in Ibiza and the Caribbean. But they have chosen Marylebone because it is in London, it is cool and they will be following in the footsteps of their idols. “The main room is not particularly big — it holds a hundred people at most. “But that suits them because they want an intimate ceremony for their friends and family. They are not the sort who are going to flog the picture rights to a glossy magazine.” Pete and Kate are planning a reception at a central London hotel — possibly The Dorchester or Claridge’s — and want to have their honeymoon in Barbados. Ironically, given their choice of Macca’s wedding venue, they met Sir Paul for the first time last week in a hospitality suite at the Little Britain Live show at Hammersmith Apollo. Pete was over the moon to finally meet his musical hero. He confided in a pal: “I told McCartney I had nicked a lot of riffs from The Beatles’ White Album. He joked, ‘That has not gone unnoticed’.” I hope Kate and Pete’s wedding is as successful as Paul’s was to Linda. Before she died in 1998, they hardly spent a night apart.
