Going backwards is regression. Going sideways is just aggression." --Noel(1994) 或许他打从一开始就没想过什麽乐团的正轨 progress 不 progress 的 他只想要 going sideways 走即使没人鸟但是自己会觉得 aggressive 的旁门左道 在 Familiar to Millions 後面的专访 Noel 也谈到 到现在他已经了自己不会做出什麽 vanguard records 因为他自使至终都是用吉他在创作 脱离不了 Beatles, Rolling Stone 或者 Stone Roses 的风格 而且 Noel 也说过类似 blurasis 之前所说的话 你想听别的乐风别的东西外头有一大堆顶尖的团和专辑任你选择，似乎不用来听 Oasis (Noel 提到 Radiohead 的新两张专辑，最喜欢说的批评就是那样的东西 Faustus 早在 25 年前就做过了，所以他不懂 RH 这样的 point 是在哪) 然而这能不能成为永久的“藉口”或者是面对广大歌迷不同呼声的偏执立场 我想真的是需要时间来考验 毕竟终极的挑战是 他们的音乐，即使在几十年後，是否能驻足停留在 人们 的心里，是否还会有 人 去买 或许这才是他们身为披头迷必须面对自己逃避不了的障碍吧 : 还有当初创团的精神(这应该是版主一直强调的) : 也许我最近听太多电子音乐 耳朵变的很钝 : but I don't think their songs which aren't Oasis-like or Brit-pop : oriented won't do any damages on them. : Sometimes, I think a change will do them good. 我觉得你说的很棒 nicely put, mate;) However maybe the problem is they can't (or are not willing to) be non Oasis nor Brit-pop oriented. Of course any change is good in a sense but I guess our perception of "change" is different from theirs. That's why there's always some gap between our expectations and their own. By now I think I've learned not to expect anything, just trying to appreciate the result.
