SEPT 25 - LIAM, NIC AND BABY GENE DONATE TO 'JEANS FOR GENE' CHARITY
Stars including Liam Gallagher, Kylie Minogue and Joanna Lumley have donated
denim patches for Jeans for Genes Day.
Fans can buy the patches to sew on their own jeans at an online auction on
website QXL.
Jeans for Genes Day takes place on October 5.
Bidding has just started for the auction at QXL and will continue until
midnight on Friday, September 28.
Thousands of people around the country will take part in the charity by
donating ? each to the appeal which is led by Great Ormond Street Hospital.
They will then be given the right to ignore dress conventions and wear jeans
for the day.

"Oasis bad boy Liam Gallagher has shown his soft side by agreeing to help out
with this year's Jeans for Genes campaign along with his girlfriend -
All Saints star Nicole Appleton - and their new baby Gene. Liam famously said
that Gene was named so because his Dad was always in jeans!
Their denim patches and a Jeans for Genes t-shirt signed 'Liamx, Nickyx and
Genex' are being auctioned as a family lot and there's sure to be some heavy
bidding on this one. All three patches show Mod targets - Liam's a traditional
red, white and blue target in leather stuck to the patch and signed on the back
'Live for ever, Love Liamx', Nicole's a brown and cream cord target on the
patch signed on the back 'Love Nickyx' and a cute baby target on a fur patch
from baby Gene.. with a little help from his Mum and Dad .. signed 'Genex'."
