This would be his fourth time doing so, something only Michael Jordan (11), Wilt Chamberlain (7) and George Gervin (4) have accomplished in league history. It was the first time that Los Angeles had three players reach 25 points in a game since Odom, Chucky Atkins and Tierre Brown did so on February 7, 2005 at Atlanta. It was the first time that the Suns scored fewer than 10 points in any quarter of a defeat since January 15, 2003, when they were held to eight second-quarter points in a 102-96 loss at Houston. The Spurs beat the Trail Blazers for the 12th straight time on Sunday, tied for the NBA’s longest current winning streak over any team. The Mavericks, who have also won 12 straight against the SuperSonics, will face Seattle twice this week. Utah has won 25 of its last 26 home games, including six in a row, and is shooting .512 from the field at EnergySolutions Arena for the season.
