Nene posted on his web site (nene31.com.br) that he had a tumor removed Monday at a Denver hospital, but did not specify the nature of the tumor. The sources said the tumor was caught in its early stages. The team expects test results back by the end of the week. The Nuggets have not commented publicly on Nene's medical issues due to privacy laws.
