Nuggets guard J.R. Smith completed his three-game suspension Sunday night and
will be eligible to make his season debut in New York. How much he plays is
another matter.
"No idea," Karl said.
Asked if Smith might crack the
starting lineup, Karl said: "
No way."
Karl indicated Smith
could be inactive against the Knicks, but that is
unlikely if the Nuggets stick to their plan to rest Martin.
If he plays, Smith is sure to be a target of Knicks fans. He was one of the
primary participants in the brawl at the Garden last Dec. 16.
