标题[心得] ubuntu 9.04 on EeePC 701/702 & CPU Full Speed

在EEEPC 701/702上使用USB替EPC安装ubuntu 9.04 且让CPU能运作在900 MHz
准备工作：
USB随身碟 (1G以上)
ubuntu 9.04 UNR USB image file http://0rz.tw/7wKPZ
Image Writer for Windows http://0rz.tw/oNq2W
如果EPC没有连接网路，需先下载下列档案
asus_eee kernel module http://0rz.tw/zf3aV
elmurato Eeeasy Scripts http://0rz.tw/WkPqr
开始安装
1. 使用ImageWriter 将ubuntu UNR 的img档案置入USB中
2. 在EPC上选用USB开机
3. 安装ubuntu
4. 因为ubuntu 9.04的UNR mode在EPC上有Bug( http://0rz.tw/txrgQ )，
所以进入UNR之後需切换到传统桌面
(a) 点选"偏好设定"
(b) 点选"切换桌面模式"
(c) 选择"经典桌面"并且套用
5. 编译并且安装asus_eee Kernel Module
(a) 开启terminal
(b) $wget
http://0rz.tw/zf3aV
(c) $tar -zxvf asus_eee-0.3.tar.gz
(d) $cd asus_eee-0.3
(e) $gedit asus_eee.c #
将该档案内的&proc_root皆取代为成NULL
(f) $make
(g) $sudo insmod asus_eee.ko
6. 安装Eeeasy Scripts
(a) $wget
http://0rz.tw/WkPqr
(b) $tar xfvz Jaunty_Eeeasy-Scripts.tar.gz
(c) $cd Jaunty_Eeeasy-Scripts/
(d) $chmod +x eeeasy-scripts.sh
(e) $sudo ./eeeasy-scripts.sh install
7. $sudo reboot，重开机之後即完成整个流程。

asus_eee Kernel Module与
Eeeasy Scripts可以使EPC的fn键支援正常
并且让CPU在AC mode之下恢复900MHz的运作模式。
另外有一套
eee-control(
http://0rz.tw/GTxCM )也可以做到同样的功
能，但是我装完之後，每次将CPU调至performance mode都会当机，所以
我改用Eeeasy scripts。虽然较为复杂，但是目前运作一切良好 :P
