http://0rz.tw/Ma5Zb 'America's Next Top Model' Dominique Reighard on music, future: Q&A Published Friday, Nov 18 2011, 14:00 GMT | By Lara Martin Dominique Reighard's time on America's Next Top Model: All-Stars came to an end this week with a photoshoot in Greece which saw the girls embracing the spirit of the ancient Olympians. While her picture was beautiful as always, Tyra said the judges were worried she wasn't as memorable as she could be. Digital Spy spoke to the cycle 10 contestant about the judges' comments, that moment with Angelea, and her music career: - Were you expecting to be eliminated at this panel? "You know what, I wasn't expecting it, but as soon as I was in the bottom two I told myself that whatever happens, happens and there is no pity party over here. I don't live in the past. As soon as I was eliminated I said, 'This chapter is over so let's focus on all the positive things'. I want my fans to focus on the positive. I've grown so much from cycle 10, to Modelville, to here now and the All-Stars cycle. I've accomplished a lot and I'm just thankful and honoured that Tyra called me back for a third time in a row! "I don't walk away feeling like a loser at all. I feel good with what I've done and where I'm at. I have a music video out right now and if it wasn't for doing music videos on the show, I probably wouldn't have 'On Top Of The World' out now. I'm thankful that I've accomplished a lot and done a lot." 讶异被淘汰但欣然接受 积极态度面对 谢谢泰妈 -- - What was your aim going into the All-Stars cycle? "This was an opportunity to let the world see how much I've grown and changed since cycle 10. I wanted people to know me for my talent, and I think everybody got that. I had killing pictures, fun with every photoshoot. The way I looked at going into every photoshoot or challenge was that people are watching me right now and I'm blessed, so I won't be nervous or hold back or get into arguments with people. "I wanted to have fun, live this moment and be on top of the world! I didn't look at it as a competition, I thought, 'Wow, I get to pursue my dreams and millions of people are watching me shoot with this famous photographer'. Why should I hold back? I should just have fun because I'm blessed, and thank you Tyra for giving me this opportunity. Every time I went into panel I'd think, 'Wow, Tyra is giving feedback to me right now'. That's huge! I'm on national TV and she's critiquing me with Andre Leon Talley! Come on! "I think I'm memorable but it's feedback nonetheless and coming from some of the biggest names in this industry. All I can do is take it in. If it doesn't apply, let it fly, take the meat and throw away the bone. I'll use it to help me grow and get better. I always take feedback and make it work for me and not against me, and I think that's what has helped me come this far and will take me to the next level in my career. I love feedback, I embrace it." "I was very honest and it came from a loving place. I wish nothing but the best for her. She's extremely talented and what I said was something I hope she takes in. "At this point what was said was said. We tweeted last night and I think everything is fine. What you guys see is the moment. Later on we were swimming in the ocean, we got to hang out at an amazing club in Greece, we were on a boat - we had a lot of fun. "Top Model is a sisterhood, it's like a sorority. I think me and Angelea will look back 20 years from now and be like, 'Girl, remember when?!' We'll look at the good and the bad and laugh at it. We'll have a special bond because we have the priceless experience of being on America's Next Top Model. Tyra gave us this opportunity. Who knows? Maybe we'll even have our own E! "I wanted people to have fun with it, dance to the song, say 'I'm on top of the world', be inspired. It shows my growth and me breaking out of my shell and breaking into new things in this industry, like singing, acting and pushing the bar. The song is called 'On Top Of The World' because it's a song to encourage and inspire people to join me on top of the world, and living on top of the world is living your life with passion and love and putting 100% into everything you do. If you do that, you can't go wrong." 关於第一单的启发 -- - Is there an album to follow? "Yes, there will be, and I have another song coming out soon called 'MainChick' with the rapper Diamond. The video is also directed by Derek Blanks. It's a really good song. I don't want to give too much away because I like that shock factor of, 'I didn't expect this from Dominique!' I'm working on an album and as soon as I finish songs I will be throwing them out there. The fans here in the US have all had the opportunity to see me because I travel a lot, and now I'm ready to take it abroad and visit my fans in the Philippines. I want them to feel I am reachable, tangible, you can touch me. I want to go over there and see them because I appreciate all the love. How would you describe your own style? "I think I have my own individual style - I'm Dominique! One day there will be another girl that will be compared to Dominique, at least I hope (laughs)! It's definitely an honour, I was blown away when they compared me to J.Lo and Beyonce. I was like, 'Really? Thank you!' They are some amazing women that are just on top of their game and they inspire me as well as Tyra inspires me to keep pushing the bar and wanting more and going for it. "I was definitely honoured to be compared to them but I'm Dominique and as I grow musically and grow in my career they will see that even more. "From watching the show, right now Allison is doing really well, and so is Lisa. They are polar opposites of each other. Who will win? I have no idea. I think it could be anybody, I really do. This is an All-Stars cycle. Every girl is so different at this point, completely different from each other, so there is no telling. "People were shocked at me going home this week so who knows what will happen next week?! I'll be tuning in and tweeting, so people can follow me @dominiqueantm.
