Now I am fit I want to play, score goals and make the fans happy. 「上季衰运缠身，痛痛了一整季。不过我现在好得很，我想进球，让你们都开心！」 "It was quite a good pre-season for me. I hope to play against Arsenal, and if the gaffer gives me the chance he knows he will get the maximum from me." 「我顺利度过了本季的季前训练，（对我新球季）有很大的帮助。我希望能出战枪手， 假如怕肚派我上场，我一定会回报他并发挥百分之两百的实力！」 这是加入纽卡的第三个球季了，虽然仍被当成新秀，但他渴望一线队生涯.. "In the first half I played attacking midfield and when Dan Gosling went off I was in more of a general midfield role. 「（在友谊赛中）上半场我踢影子前锋的位置，当小鹅上场後我可以踢回中场位。」 "It was good for me. We tried to move the ball around and play with a quick tempo." 「我们尝试各种不同的推进方式，节奏飞快，这对我来说很好。」 关於被中途喊停的紫百合友谊赛.. "We expected to get the game finished and play another 90 minutes which we needed.
