NEWCASTLE United have completed the signing of Wigan Athletic utility man
Ryan Taylor with Charles N'Zogbia heading in the other direction.
The 24-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half year deal at St.James' Park
and will wear the No.16 shirt for the Magpies.
And a delighted Taylor told nufcTV in an exclusive interview:
"It's fantastic. This is a massive opportunity for me and I can't wait to
get started.
"You only have to look at the game against Sunderland and the Newcastle fans
to realise why I have signed for the club."
Liverpool-born Taylor began his career at Tranmere Rovers and scored 19 times
in 122 outings for the Wirral-based club.
A ￡750,000 move to the JJB Stadium followed in 2005 where he netted seven
goals, four against United, in 73 appearances.
