Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has signed a new three-year
contract which will keep him at St. James' Park until the summer of 2011.
Taylor, England Under 21 captain, has been with United since the age
of 9 and last season passed the 100 game mark for the Magpies.
A delighted Taylor said:
"I am thrilled to have signed this new contract. Newcastle United is my
home town club and the only team I've ever wanted to play for.
"I can't wait to get back into pre-season training next week and get
stuck into the Premier League campaign next month."

个人感想啦,我对於签下仅仅三年约其实蛮不满意的...
因为对於他这个年纪的来说,等於隔一两年或下个赛季可能就要再续约一次...
他又不是欧文那种28~29岁又有严重伤病纪录的球员,
一个才22岁的年轻球员又是自家养出来的,只续三年约实在有点太短了.
