Having managed barely three hours on the field during his ill-fated
stint at Derby County this season, former Magpie Laurent Robert has packed
his bags and left Pride Park.
Still only 32, the winger who has played in France, England, Portugal
and Spain is now en route to Canada and a trial at John Carver's home for
bewildered Ex-Mags aka Toronto FC.
The MLS side have already featured former Newcastle players Martin
Brittain and Kevin Gall in pre-season games.
