The French midfielder has been a substitute in Newcastle's last three games, despite promises he claims he was given by manager Graeme Souness. "If nothing changes, I will seriously consider opening the case with club officials," he told France Football. "Souness told me I'd be on the bench for away games but I'd have chances at home, but I found myself substitute." He continued: "I want to talk with the club before making a decision. I want to make sure they still count on me. "But I don't want to stay on the bench for ever."
