A: [Rick] Carlisle and [Danny] Ainge, a mix of those two. 问:就过去你曾经效力的教练之中,你觉得你最像那一位? 答:卡莱尔(小牛教练)和安吉(前太阳教练,现任赛队总管)的综合体。 Q: Why Carlisle? A: He’s prepared, everything was time-oriented, and he had a great feel. 问:为何是卡莱尔? 答:他总是准备充分,所有赛前准备工作都按照时间表来进行,而且他对比赛有很好的直觉。 Q: What was your style as a point guard? A: I was just a guy that wanted to set the table. You look at Magic [Johnson], you look at [John] Stockton, I thought that was who I tried to emulate. Set the table, and if the shot presented itself late in the game, don ’t be afraid to take it. 问:身为一个控卫,你的风格是什麽? 答:我只是一个想把球场局面(节奏和战术)设定好的人。(把球场比喻成一个餐桌的话, 把餐具摆设好,人们就可以用简单且有秩序的方式用餐,不会混乱;正如同球场上局面设 定好了,队友们便能够可以依照一个简单的架构来发挥天赋)。 你看看魔术,老史在球场上做的事情,我想他们是我所效法的对象。 局面设定好的话,即便是一开始没办法进球也不用害怕,最後球总是会进。 Q: How does Deron Williams’ style differ from yours? A: He shoots the ball a little bit better than I did or Stockton or Magic, so he’s different in that way because he can flat out shoot it with the best of ’em, but also, he’s a guy who can set the table. 问:那小胖(蝶龙威廉斯)跟你的风格有什麽差别呢? 答:他的投射能力比我,老史或魔术稍好一点(有没有搞错?),所以,因为这点差异, 他拿了球可以想上就上,但同时,他有能力在场上设定大局,帮助队友发挥。 Q: So describe how you see your coaching style. A: I would be a younger [Gregg Popovich]. And I’m not trying to say I’m Pop ... he’ll stand if he has to. But a lot of times he sits there and enjoys the game with his staff. ... If I could ever follow in that category, that would be an honor. 问:可能描述一下你心中未来的执教风格? 答:我应该会是年轻版的Pop,我不是说我是Pop.....在球场边,当他觉得有必要就会站起 来(骂人?),但在大部分的时间里他会坐在场边与他的教练团享受比赛....如果有一天 可以达到这样境界的话,我会感到很荣幸的。 Q: What would you want people to say about Jason Kidd’s Brooklyn Nets, after they watch your team play? A: They play hard. They’re a feisty group, and it’s a ticket that I would love to buy for years to come because they’re a lot of fun to watch. 问:你希望人们怎麽看在你领军之下的布鲁克林篮网队? 答:我希望他们看到我们在场上总是努力打球,我们是一个有活力,有实力也有决心的团队 ,人们会想要买票进场看我们的比赛,因为我们非常地精彩。 还有很多,这篇专访真的值得一读。 --
