标题[外电] Yi Headed To Washington in Cap Savings Move?

Al Iannazzone reports that the Nets are close to moving Yi Jianlian to the
Wizards in a cap savings move that would free up $3 million in cap space,
giving them a bit more than $30 million and putting them back in second place
among teams seeking top free agents behind the Knicks.

In return, Iannazzone reports, the Nets would receive journeyman small
forward Quinton Ross or one of the Wizards draft picks. Iannazzone did not
specify if the pick would be one taken last week or a future pick. Ross
makes $1.4 million this season. Yi makes $4.05 million. If the pick is from
last week, the Wizards took Kevin Seraphin, a 6'9" PF from France, Trevor
Booker, a 6'7" PF from Clemson and Lazar Hayward, a 6'6" SF from Marquette in
the first round and Hamady NDiaye, a 6'11" C from Rutgers in the second.
Seraphin, if he comes to the NBA, will make $1.3 million, Booker $1.2
million and Hayward less $850,000.
