标题[情报] Williams Working to Find Role

Sean Williams was a focus of discussion today, and though the preseason
averages might not pop off the page at 4.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0
blocks per game, he's maintaining a positive outlook based on his strong
practice play.

"I know what I can do in this league," Williams said. "I’m very confident in
my skills. I feel like if I get on the court, I’ll be straight. It’s
preseason, man. It’s training camp, really I don’t even see it as
preseason. These games don’t even count, in my mind. This is training camp,
we’re all still trying to get better."
Williams说:「我知道在比赛中我可以做些什麽，我确信我的技术。

At practice yesterday, Lawrence Frank said that Williams set a high bar for
himself during the early part of camp, and maintaining consistency at or near
that level will be key. Frank went on to explain that he grades Williams on
the impact he makes on the game, whether or not that shows up in the box
score.
Frank说:「在昨天的练习中，Williams在这次的训练营中提升到另一个层次他在

"He’s got to be a momentum changer," Frank said. "A huge energy guy, a guy
who’s going to run the floor, get some easy baskets, get some offensive
rebounds, when he’s open in his shooting range just shoot it and defensively
to protect our basket. You’ve got to be high energy every day, and that’s
got to be his mark in the league right now."

And for any struggles he might be working through, Williams remains staunchly
team-oriented. Frank said that he asked Williams if he wanted to start
Monday's game against New York, or if he should go with Brook Lopez, and
Williams deferred to give the rookie a chance to develop.

That Williams took a pass at a time when his spot in the rotation isn't
definite might seem a bit odd, but Frank wanted to be clear that Williams
made the decision sincerely, and with the team's best interests in mind.
Williams曾经历过一段令人感到愚蠢不可置信的时光，但Frank想要让他变得成熟
认真的下每一个决定，并且以球队的考量为优先。
"I feel like everybody in this organization knows what I can do, so when the
time presents itself, I'll be ready," Williams said. "Right now, this is
training camp and everybody’s trying to get ready for the season. Coach is
doing what he has to do to get everybody ready for the season, and I
understand that. I can just come in and work hard every day and be ready for
the season when it comes."
