March 5, 2006 -- Nets 105 Raptors 101 NETS CLAMP DOWN IN CRUNCH The numbers jump out and scream off the stat sheet - two 30-point scorers in Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson; yet another triple-double for Jason Kidd; Nenad Krstic just missing a 20-point game. And two huge overtime jumpers from Jacque Vaughn don't even really get their due in the boxscore. But all of the offense was secondary to the Nets' defense in gut-check time of their 105-100 overtime victory against the Raptors yesterday at the Meadowlands, where the Nets ended a three-game losing streak. But Vaughn crushed the Raptors' spirit with a left-side jumper, this time off Carter's drive and kick at :33.0.
