Sacramento never looked back, cruising to a 71-60 win. Kevin Martin paced the Kings with 21 points (8-15 FG) and three rebounds, but committed seven turnovers. Erik Daniels chipped in 14 points (6-11 FG) and five rebounds, while Ronne Price had 13 points (6-12 FG). The Kings finished the game shooting 46 percent (29-63 FG). Sacramento capitalized on 18 New Jersey turnovers by outscoring them 20-12 in points off turnovers. Melvin Sanders led the Nets in scoring with 16 points (8-13 FG).
