Third baseman Dustin Dickerson, drafted in the 15th round of the 2006
First-Year Player Draft, took batting practice with the Nationals on Friday
afternoon. He got off to a slow start, but started to hit line drives toward
the end.
Dickerson said he and Washington have not begun negotiating a professional
contract. He signed a letter of intent to go to Baylor University, but is
leaning toward playing Minor League baseball for the Nationals.
Dickerson 被BA评为今年高中明星第二队，能守一垒与三垒。 在选秀前曾
拜访过球场，但表示将会去念大学。Nats 今年在选秀碰运气上用第十五轮
把 Dickerson 选下来，目前除他之外还有 Black、King、Gibson尚未谈妥
条件，就看最近是否有好消息。
