Down on the farm: Last year, after being drafted in the 11th round of the
2002 First Year Player Draft, right-hander Jason Bergmann was 7-4 with a 2.89
ERA for Class-A Vermont. This season, he picked up where he left off for
Class-A Savannah. Entering Friday's action, Bergmann is 4-5 with a 2.76 ERA
He leads the team in strikeouts (44) and opponents are hitting .234 against
him.
