: Hyatt
The Greater Rochester area is the 3rd largest populated city in the New York
State, next to New York City (1st) and Buffalo (2nd).
The population is about 1 million people; the City itself is just ~200,000.
If you come to Rochester, the two places you should visit are
1) George Eastman House
The house of the founder of Eastman Kodak Company.
Now it's an world famous film and photography museum.
2) High Fall
A not-too-small waterfull within the downtown of the City!
You can also visit University of Rochester's River Campus and Eastman School
of Music and Eastman Theater. They are pretty but not too special.
During the nights, The High Fall area, the Eastman Theatre district,
Alexanda Street, Park Avenue and Monroe Avenue are
the only places to experience a night life such as pubs and fine dining.
There are also a Zoo, an Art Gallery, a Science and Techonology museum, a
museum for kids (with a huge toy doll collection!), a theatre for drama,
an auditorium for Broadway musicals, a baseball field for a 3A small league
professoonal baseball team (Rochester Red Wings).
Actually Rochester has everything that you expect to have in a
culture-rich city, but there is just one for each thing.
Nothing more; nothing less.
And that's almost all. Life is simple in Rochester.
