(4) @JackCurryYES: With the way Boone has raved about Carrasco’s swing and miss stuff, indications are that Carrasco is likely to be in the rotation. He has an opt out on March 22. I see these two sides staying together. Yanks need rotation depth so it would be unwise to lose Carrasco (5) @BryanHoch: Clarke Schmidt (shoulder) threw about 24 pitches in the bullpen and said he felt good. He hopes to bounce back well and is working toward being ready for the April 3 start vs. Arizona. (6) @BryanHoch: Clarke Schmidt will not start tomorrow against the Blue Jays, Aaron Boone said. Schmidt is dealing with shoulder soreness and is “not getting all the way back to how he normally would.” (7) @BryanHoch: Mark Leiter Jr. said he had the option of throwing live BP or a bullpen today.
