following roster moves:
‧ Optioned OF Everson Pereira to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
‧ Reassigned OF Spencer Jones to minor league camp.
(2) @BryanHoch: No official announcement yet, but this could line up for Carlos
Rodón to start Opening Day March 27 vs. Milwaukee (possibly starting 3/21 as
final tuneup).
(3) @BryanHoch: Brian Cashman said “very little is available” in the pitching
marketplace at this time of year. Said the Yankees will “rely on what we
have” while exploring outside opportunities. Luxury tax penalties make it
“less likely” they will add from outside, he said.
