PETERSBURG -- Derek Jeter plans to rejoin the big league team in New York on Thursday and will address the media during a news conference at Yankee Stadium. Jeter learned last week that he had suffered another fracture in his surgically repaired left ankle and will not play in a Major League game before the All-Star break. He has not spoken publicly since the diagnosis. Manager Joe Girardi said his understanding is that Jeter has again been fitted for a walking boot.
