比赛打击练习前, 洋基将媒体请出球员休息室, 由Brian Cashman开了一个闭门的球队
会议, 相当地不寻常。原以为是鼓舞士气的会议, 或由Cashman带来高层的讯息。但最後都
不是, Ed Price获得的讯息是, 说明球员休息室该有的适当的行为。没人清楚到底发生了
什麽事, 也没有人愿意谈下去。
(这倒是令人想起了Ruben Rivera偷了Jeter手套的事情。)

UPDATE: The meeting was about appropriate behavior in the clubhouse, I'm
told. Nothing more. No pep talks.
The Yankees closed the clubhouse to media for a 10-minute team meeting before
batting practice. This likely is more than a first-day-of-a-series scouting
meeting, since the Yankees haven't had one since mid-August.
With just 19 games left, the Yankees are 8 1/2 games out of a playoff spot.
