1. Richie Sexson可以帮助洋基队在对上左投时担任一垒手, 可以在这周结束後和某队签
约。其他有兴趣的包括大都会, 和响尾蛇队。
2. 被水手释出的Sexson, 明天才会通过让渡。今年他打左投很威, 打右投则很弱。
3. 他的经纪人Casey Close表示Sexson在家里对能作的选择深思熟虑。他必须决定是到一
个强的分区球队轮流守一垒(他未来可能会被贴上这样的标签), 或是到弱一点的分区
球队当固定的一垒手。
4. 一当他通过让渡, 和他签约的球队只需要依比率付给他最低的基本薪资(162,000元)。

Richie Sexson, who could help the Yankees as a first baseman against
left-handed pitching, is likely to sign somewhere by the end of the week. The
Mets also have interest, and Arizona may be a fit.
Sexson, released by the Seattle Mariners, is expected to clear waivers today.
He hit lefties well this year but was poor against right-handers.
Agent Casey Close said Sexson is at home mulling his options. He has to
decide whether to take a platoon-type job with a contender (which could get
him labelled for the future) or a more regular job with a second-division
team.
Once he clears waivers, Sexson would need to be paid just the prorated
minimum by his new club.
