Kennedy 周四将先发对战光芒
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Ian Kennedy's banishment to the minors will come to an
end on Thursday, as the Yankees will hand him the ball in the series finale
against the Rays.
Kennedy 下放小联盟周四将告结束,洋基将由他主投对战光芒四连战系列最後一战.
After watching Kei Igawa stink up the joint on Friday night in Detroit, the
Yankees decided to send the Japanese lefthander to the bullpen for a couple of
days, paving the way for Kennedy's return.
看到井川庆上周五糟糕透顶的表现,洋基决定让他先待在牛棚几天,以为 Kennedy 回
大联盟铺路.
Darrell Rasner, who pitched Saturday, will get the ball for the Subway Series
opener against the Mets on Friday at Yankee Stadium.
周六刚投过的 Rasner,周五将在洋基球场主投地铁大战开幕战,对战大都会.
Kennedy was 0-2 with an 8.37 ERA in six games, five of them starts. He was
optioned to Triple-A Scranton on May 4, where he pitched a gem in his first
start, allowing one hit over 7 1/3 innings. Kennedy didn't walk a batter and
struck out eight.
Kennedy 大联盟战绩 出战六场,五场先发 0 胜 2 败 ERA 8.37,因而在五月四日被下
放小联盟,他在小联盟第一战先发表现优异, 投了 7 又 1/3 局只被打出一支安打,八
个三振,没任何四坏球保送.
Kennedy was scheduled to start for Scranton last night, but he pitched just one
inning before being lifted. Kennedy allowed an infield single, throwing 12
pitches, seven for strikes.
昨晚 Kennedy 原本预计在小联盟先发,不过他只投了一局就调升了,投十二个球其中
七个好球,被打出一支内野安打.
