Wang, who will be last Opening Day starter in the old Stadium, was in line to start Opening Day last year for the Yankees before he strained his right hamstring during a workout in March. The sinkerballing right-hander came back from the injury to tie a career high in wins for the second straight season, going 19-7 with a 3.70 ERA in 30 starts. He also established a career high with 104 strikeouts. Wang, 28, pitched Friday in a Minor League game against the Rays' Class A Vero Beach affiliate, throwing 89 pitches.
