小老板Hank嘴炮又发功了。
在接受New York Times专访时, Hank小老板嘲笑红袜比洋基还受欢迎的想法。
他说: "红袜帮? 这是一帮xxx(消音), 这不过是红袜队和满是红袜球迷的ESPN电台搞
出来的名词。但是不管你走到美国任何地方, 你都看不到红袜队的球帽和夹克, 只会
看到洋基队的球帽和夹克。这根本是个属於洋基的国家, 我们将会让洋基队重回巅峰,
让一切回复正轨。"
小老板的谈话还没收到红袜队官方正式的回应。

Hammerin' Hank: The ever-quotable Hank Steinbrenner is at it again.
In an interview with the New York Times, Steinbrenner mocked the idea that
the Red Sox had surpassed the Yankees in popularity.
"Red Sox Nation? What a bunch of (expletive) that is. That was a creation of
the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans," he said. "Go
anywhere in America and you won't see Red Sox hats and jackets, you'll see
Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We're going to put the
Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order."
There has yet to be an official response from the Red Sox.
