Raw emotion highlights Yankee celebration Mark Feinsand September 27, 2007 http://www.nydailynews.com/ 重点: 有点感伤、有点西斯、有点好笑及有点感动的庆祝场面 1. 球员们总是说用香槟庆祝的场面永远不会老套, 我同意是这样没错。但不同意的是， 因为我没有机会把香槟酒喷在球员身上，我也不会像他们喷得这麽湿(虽然Tony Pena 瞄准我们中的一两个，想办法让我们分享这份喜悦)，但是整个更衣室覆盖在香槟酒 的气味中还是一件很独特的事情。看着这群成年人(以及Shelly Duncan, 这孩子气的 男人)做着疯狂的举动，到处跳来跳去而且唱着，这时用香槟酒和啤酒相互把对方弄湿 是件挺重要的事情。在这个不可置信的球季里，当洋基应付他们面临的所有压力之後， 对球员而言这是一个可以将所有压力宣泄出去又可以相互间玩得开心的好机会。 2. 这就是他们终极的目标吗? 还差得远呢，我看过2001年的洋基队用朴实无华的方式 举杯庆祝他们拿到东区冠军的头衔(那是9月11日後大约两周左右的时候，他们选择 放弃这种标准的喷香槟大肆庆祝的方式)，然後把这场面留到赢得分区系列赛和美 联冠军系列赛之後。但是当他们世界大赛系列的第七场输掉比赛後，球员休息区却 是一遍的死寂，我就再也看不到庆祝的场面了。(有点想哭!) 3. 2003年，洋基队在Aaron Boone打出再见全垒打後是用我从来都没看过的方式庆祝得 到胜利，即使是在电视上看到的都是如此。洋基球场的球员休息室也变成我一生看过 最狂野的场地。这场比赛也是记载在我的生涯中最伟大的一场比赛，即使赢得世界冠 军系列赛都没法超过这场比赛给人的震撼。 4. 但是昨晚，在纯品康纳球场客队的休息室的庆祝场面是不同的，没有美联东区冠军的 T恤，也无法四处都看得到东区冠军特制的帽子，有的只是纯粹发自内心未经矫饰的 感情。年轻的球员像Duncan和张伯伦就如预期的最是激动，每一回香槟喷洒在球员身 上时他俩都用尽声量大声的吼叫嘶嚷。 (Joba的表现成为昨晚我喜爱的一则报导：当两罐冰啤酒浇到他头上後，Joba尖叫着说好 冰哦，然後说: "花花公子们，人家的乳头变得好硬哦!" 他的表现实在太正点了。) 5. 我也看到了一件我见过最奇特的事，当Kyle Farnsworth的五岁的儿子Stone带着一 罐百威啤酒走来走去，球员们会弯下腰来所以他可以把一些啤酒浇到他们头上。 6. 实际上在那里的每个球员都对Joe Torre有一些感谢的话要说，Joe Torre是在球队艰 困的时刻让休息区里的球员可以凝结在一起的关键人物。Torre和Jeter相互拥抱共享 喜悦的时刻。Duncan则给Torre一个大熊抱，感谢Torre本季让他有机会为洋基打球， 眼泪也从脸上滑落下来。A-Rod也和Torre紧抱了几分钟并说了些真心诚意的话语，与 这个去年十月让他打第八棒的男人共享这伟大的时刻。 7. 这是一个相当感人的夜晚。当这个球队球季初打出21胜29败的成绩时，很多人都认为 他们差不多完蛋了。我却一直认为他们可以进到季後赛，虽然会有那一两天我也会怀 疑为什麽我会有这种想法。以一位洋基队随队的专属记者而言，看到你整年在采访的 这些家伙能够体验到这样的兴奋与激动实在是太棒了。我也希望下个月我可以在洋基 队看到更多次这种庆祝的场面。 Players always say that champagne celebrations never get old. I agree. No, I didn't have the chance to spray bubbly on players, and I wasn't being doused like they were (though Tony Pena took aim at a couple of us and managed to share the wealth), but the smell of a locker room covered in champagne is something very unique. Watching grown men (and Shelley Duncan, the man-child) go nuts, jump around and chant while soaking each other with champagne and beer is quite something. After all of the pressure the Yankees had to deal with during this incredible season, this was a chance for them to let it all out and have some fun with each other. Is it the ultimate goal? Far from it. I watched the 2001 team celebrate the AL East title with a somber toast (it was about two weeks after Sept. 11, and they opted to forego the standard mayhem), then let it all out after winning both the Division Series and ALCS. But the eerie silence in the clubhouse after they lost Game 7 was something I had never seen. In 2003, they celebrated after Aaron Boone's walkoff homer in a way I have never seen, even on TV. That clubhouse at Yankee Stadium was the wildest place I had ever been, and that will go down as the greatest game I have covered in my career. Even a World Series win would be hard to top that one. But tonight, the celebration in the visiting clubhouse at the Trop was different. There were no “AL East champs” t-shirts, no hats being passed around. There was just raw emotion. Young players like Duncan and Joba Chamberlain were taking it all in as expected, yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs with each drop that hit them. (Joba gets my favorite line of the night: After having two ice cold beers poured over his head, he shrieked that they were freezing, then said, “Dude, my nipples are so hard!” Classic.) I also saw one of the most bizarre things ever, as Kyle Farnsworth's five-year-old son, Stone, walked around with a can of Budweiser while several players bent down so he could pour some beer on their heads. Virtually every player in there had some nice words about Joe Torre, who has been the glue that held this clubhouse together during the tough times. Torre and Derek Jeter embraced and shared a moment. Duncan gave Torre a huge bear hug and thanked him for the opportunity to play for the Yankees this season, tears running down his face. A-Rod also spent a few close minutes with Torre, who seemed to have some sincere words to share with the man he batted eighth last October. It was quite a night. This team that started 21-29 was left for dead by many people. I always thought they had a chance to reach the postseason, though there were one or two days when I questioned why I ever thought that. But now they're there. As a beat writer, it's nice to see the guys you cover all year experience such thrills as this. I hope we get to see this celebration a few more times next month. --
