He allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings and earned his 13th win this season. Pettitte, who won for the seventh time in eight starts, is one win shy of 200 for his career. Pettitte also captured his 162nd win as a Yankee, which tied him for Herb Pennock for seventh on the all-time Yankees list and fourth among left-handers. Pettitte is 9-2 in 12 second-half starts and has allowed three earned runs or fewer 11 times. Pettitte is 2-1 with a 4.75 ERA in six games, five starts, against the Red Sox this season, and he holds a career mark of 15-6 with a 3.32 ERA versus Boston. Red Sox: Once a leading contender for American League Rookie of the Year, Matsuzaka has fallen on hard times of late. Over his last four starts, Matsuzaka is 1-4 with a 9.57 ERA. In particular, his last two outings have been bad. The Orioles hit him for six hits and eight runs over 2 2/3 innings on Saturday. In the outing before that, Matsuzaka gave up 10 hits and seven runs over 5 1/3 innings against the Blue Jays. Matsuzaka is 2-1 with a 6.98 ERA in three starts against the Yankees. 第二场 Saturday, September 15 Fenway Park | 3:55 PM ET Chien-Ming Wang, RHP (18-6, 3.69) Yankees (83-63) @ Josh Beckett, RHP (18-6, 3.27) Red Sox (89-58) Scouting Report: Yankees: Wang was a winner once more in his last effort against Kansas City, twirling seven innings of three-run ball to win his 18th game and fifth straight start. Now comes a true matchup of Cy Young candidates, both having terrific seasons in the midst of the baseball's biggest rivalry. Wang last faced Boston on Aug. 30 at Yankee Stadium and beat them 5-0, limiting the Red Sox to one hit while striking out five for win No. 16. Red Sox: Beckett has been a machine for the Red Sox all year long. A leading contender for the American League Cy Young Award, Beckett is coming off a 3-2 victory over the Orioles. In that one, the righty gave up two runs over seven innings while striking out eight. Beckett is holding opponents to a .245 average. Beckett is 1-1 with a 5.49 ERA in three starts against the Yankees this season. 第三场 Sunday, September 16 Fenway Park | 8:05 PM ET Roger Clemens, RHP (6-6, 4.45) Yankees (83-63) @ Curt Schilling, RHP (8-7, 3.93) Red Sox (89-58) Scouting Report: Yankees: Could it finally be? Clemens insists it will be, though after having a pair of cortisone injections in his right elbow, his first Fenway Park start since 2003 could be a game-time decision. The Red Sox faithful are certainly salivating for a chance to bat around the Rocket, but the Yankees are just hoping that Clemens has a few more bullets left in his 45-year-old arm. Clemens claimed his last start was like throwing with a piece of wood. He'd need to be wary of a Boston lineup that can certainly wield the lumber. Red Sox: Despite being winless in his past three starts, Schilling has been pitching well. In his last outing, he allowed just one run and five hits in a 1-0 loss to Scott Kazmir and the Devil Rays. Schilling has allowed seven runs in his past four starts. He is 3-2 with a 4.21 ERA in 11 starts at Fenway Park this season.
