However, manager Joe Torre opted to rest Jeter on Sunday after Jeter left Saturday's game with irritation of the patella tendon in his right knee. 队长想打 但老托不让他打 Jeter was out of the staring lineup on Sunday, but he should be ready for the opener of a three-game series that starts on Tuesday in Toronto. "I don't know what he is going to do, but I am not concerned about it. I want to play every day, period. I don't like sitting out.
