Yankees first baseman Andy Phillips left Sunday's game against the
Devil Rays with a contusion on his right wrist and was sent for a
precautionary MRI and CT scan.
洋基一垒手Phillips因为右手腕关节挫伤而被迫离场
他将接受核磁共振和电脑断层扫描的检查
Phillips, 27, was hit by a pitch from Tampa Bay starter Jason Hammel,
prompting him to leap up and down in agony and bat away his helmet
before taking first base. After brief examination on the field,
Phillips remained in the game.

He pumped his fists after crashing into Tampa Bay catcher Dioner
Navarro while scoring on a Melky Cabrera double to right, but did
not return for the next inning. Phillips was replaced at first base
by utilityman Wilson Betemit, and the Yankees announced that Phillips
was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.

In 61 games for the Yankees, Phillips is batting .292 (54-for-185)
with two home runs and 25 RBIs. He began the season at Triple-A
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after missing a bid to make the club out
of Spring Training, batting .301 (75-for-249) with 11 home runs
and 36 RBIs against International League pitching.
