My dear friends, Last Friday was our second demo meeting. Still a lot of people came and decided to join us as a member of NTU Toastmasters! As one of the two speakers on Friday, I shared my stories and tried to remind all of you to keep working when our dreams come true. Lina Liao let us know that you can be anybody you want but not everybody, and sometimes refusing is much harder than saying yes to others. This week we’ll have our first regular meeting! It will be held on 10/2(Fri.) in the Classroom 704 (7F), 2nd Student Activity Center, NTU. And I want to remind you that the next Friday (10/9) is the deadline of joining us. That is, you have to pay full amount of your member fee to get membership before 10/09. For those who paid the $500 of deposit, please remember to pay the rest before the deadline. Therefore, if you want to join us, make sure you will appear in the meeting this or the next Friday! Seize your own chance and don’t miss it!
