You all know what a Timer is, but I would like to point out one thing about the rule. ^ ^ That is: during the joke session, table topic session, and evaluation session, Timer has to raise GREEN flag when it is only "1 minute" left, and then YELLOW flag when it is "30 seconds" left, and finally the red flag when time is up. And from earlier meetings, a lot of Timers just mentioned the rule in the prepared speech session. (2 minute left--Green; 1 minute left-- Yellow; Time up-- Red). I would like to tell you more specific about the rule, for we will have 5 prepared speech speakers in each meeting starting from 4/29, and then time control really becomes more and more important. *********************************** WE NEED ONE SPEAKER ON APRIL FIRST *********************************** Besides, is there anyone volunteer to deliever your speech on April First (next Friday) ? This semester we do not have many regular meetings and spaces left for Prepared speeches, so please take the chance! Contact me or May Chen if you like to present your speech on 4/1 whatever you are a new or an old member. *********************************** 5/13 Humorous & Evaluation Contest *********************************** Also, there is another chance for all the toastmasters to challenge yourselves. It is the Humorous & Evaluation Contest on 5/13 Friday! There is no 人数限制to the two contests, so you can prepare for it from now on. If you already sign up for a speech in a following regular meeting, maybe you can consider cancel that speech and present it on 5/13.
