annie sam sherwood and mao:D thanks guys. i had an awesome time tonight. hahaa. my first bg (and only...) this semester:)!! "organ transplantion" was great-- a very problematic issue, both idealistically... what are ethics? are there world ethics? if so, what about cultural, religious, and social differences? if not, it's the black market all over again. would you die for your ethics? would you have other people die for your ethics? and realistically... can we really solve the problem-- scientifically, can we find a way? is the "sacrifice" worth a shot? does opening the market work? how free a market are we talking about? are we just settling for second best? but definitely one worth discussing. thanks, sam and annie, for all your hard work in preparing this. thanks, sherwood, for doing most of the talking for us. and thanks, mao, for the lesson in economics.
