埔里酒厂 埔里被称为是「绍兴酒的故乡」即是因为埔里酒厂向来以制造绍兴酒而名闻遐迩。埔里酒 厂成立於日据时代(1902年)，由地方人士所倡议筹组，大正十一年日因禁止民间制酒，台 湾总督府专卖局即接收株式会社，改名为「埔里出张所」，台湾光复後，转由省政府菸酒 公卖局管辖，这时的埔里酒厂只生产米酒、太白酒、糯米 酒，而且生产不多，後来才改 以生产绍兴酒为主。 埔里酒厂生产的绍兴酒，之所以广受欢迎，原因之一是拜埔里水质甘良所赐；酒厂生产酒 的水来自爱兰台地的泉水，目前在爱兰台地西边设有一水塔，就是专供制造绍兴酒之用。 Pu-li brewery Pu-li is called “the hometown of shaoxing wine” because Pu-li brewery is known for making shaoxing wine. Now, there is a standpipe set up the west of爱兰 tableland, it specially provide the water for making绍兴酒. 广兴纸寮 埔里的手工造纸滥觞於日治时代，昭和十年(1935)由日人创建的「埔里制纸所」开启了埔 里的造纸故事。光复後，台湾纸业公司大肚厂接收埔里制纸所，并改名「埔里手工纸工厂 」，最後埔里手工纸工厂标售民营，埔里的造纸业在这个时候进入民营时期，许多民营纸 厂也於此时成立。 山好水好的埔里，因为水质佳成为纸的故乡。虽然目前埔里的纸业不如巅峰时期兴盛，但 这一批存留下来的制纸人，仍旧在为台湾纸的名声而努力。由於全世界的环保意识愈来愈 高涨，使用草本浆料和再生纸张成为趋势，所以在埔里种植面积广达二千公顷的筊白笋， 成为最佳的纸浆料来源。以筊白笋外壳制作纸，不仅环保，更重要的意义在於它是以本土 原料制作而成的正宗台湾纸。 Guang Xingzhi Laos Manual papermaking in Guangdong originated when the time Japanese ruled Taiwan, the Shiaowa ten years (1935) founded “in Guangdong by the Japanese people the system paper institute” to open in Guangdong's papermaking story.
