台大外籍生接待义工服务社欢迎函

亲爱的同学您好:
我们是「台大外籍生接待义工服务社」,
我们是一个由一群热心的台大学生组成的义工团体,
目的是为了帮助您能够提早地适应台大的生活及学习环境。
首先当然欢迎并且恭喜您能够来到台大就读,
相信您在未来几年的留学生活中,一定会有一个美好的回忆。
为了让您入学之後,能够尽快地适应台大的生活及学习环境,
我们社团在学校的支持下成立於1997年,
历年来一直和外籍生有着良好的互动。所以,请相信我们,
当您有任何的问题,无论是选课、住宿、或是任何日常生活的困惑,
您都可以和您的义工或是我们社团联络。
我们为您安排了属於您的义工,近期内他将会跟你联络,
并协助您了解任何您想知道的问题。
如果您的义工并未和您联络,或是还有任何问题,
可以向学校侨外组李姐洽询,

以下是一些当您初抵台湾後,可能需要的一些资讯。
一、如何到台湾大学
由桃园中正国际机场搭机场巴士到台北车站,
再换乘捷运
http://www.trtc.com.tw/ (公馆站)、公车(253、○南)、计程车到台湾大学。
二、饮食
校内或宿舍设有餐厅。学校附近系公馆商圈,有中西餐、速食....等,样式很多。
三、住宿
本校备有男女学生宿舍,优先保留提供外籍生,可於入校时提出申请。
四、交通
校内有免费的「校园专车」,也可自购脚踏车骑乘。
校外交通有公车、捷运、铁路、公路等,非常便利。
五、医疗
校内有「学务处保健中心及医疗中心」、台大医院公馆院区;
校外有台大医院及各公私立医院诊所。外籍生入学後四个月可以申办「全民健保」。
六、服务
本校有「外籍生义工社」提供接待服务,另设有「学务处侨外组」
专责办理各项外籍生业务。(

Welcome Letter from NTU International Student Information Service Club
2002
Dear Recipient,
Congratulations! You are now a member of our university.
We are members of NTUISIS (International Student Information Service Club),
which is a service group made up of enthusiastic volunteer students
from various departments of NTU.
Our club was founded in 1997 with the support of the university's
authorities in order to help your adaption to the living and
learning environment here. There has always been excellent
interaction between foreign students and us since then.
Therefore, you can trust and count on us.
Whenever you have any kind of problem, such as course selection,
accommodation, or any possible trouble, you can always contact us for
suggestion or help.
We have arranged a volunteer student for you, and soon
he/ she will contact you. If your volunteer student fails to contact you,
please consult Ms. Lee at GOCFA.

The following is a list of some information that you will need
upon arrival in Taiwan.
1. How to get to NTU
Chiang Kai-shek international airport is situated 40 kilometers
south of Taipei. There are shuttle buses that will take you to
the Taipei city center. The trip takes about one hour. From
there you can either take MRT (
http://www.trtc.com.tw/),
(destination station: Kungkuan suggested), taxi or bus
(236, 251 etc) to NTU.
2. Food
Some cafeterias are located within the dormitories;
there are also many restaurants, cafes and bistros within walking distance.
3. Accommodation
All foreign students are guaranteed on-campus accommodation.
If the student chooses to find his or her own housing,
or moves out of the dormitory, the university must be notified in advance.
4. Transportation
convenient-all dormitories are on campus. Most students on campus use
bicycles.
5. Medical Care
All foreign students residing in Taiwan for more than four months
are required by law to join the National Health Insurance.
