At Almaden, some of the finest minds in the industry focus on basic and applied research in computer science, magnetic and optical storage technology, physical and materials science and technology, and scientific and technical application software. The Storage Systems Group at IBM Almaden is looking for interns with strong web GUI experiences. The students will be working with a group of IBM storage and file system researchers to develop a web-based management and monitoring interface for a peta-scale storage and file systems. We will employ Web 2.0 technologies and take revolutionary approaches to large-system management. We look for students with strong motivation and skills/experiences in one or both of the areas of (1) user interface development and (2) web-based technologies.
