Azubuike needs surgery, done for season
Kelenna Azubuike will not play again this season, after an MRI revealed that
he had a torn left patellar tendon.
Azubuike will have surgery this week, with an expected recovery time of
five-to-six months. We have faith that the young swingman will come back
strong for the beginning of next season -- for now, his minutes (and those of
Stephen Jackson) will be absorbed by guys like Anthony Morrow and Corey
Maggette.
