虽然仲宇早在一个礼拜前就已经PO过了 不过我还是想要纪录一下 去这场演讲是因为我还满喜欢龙应台的尖锐的风格 虽然现在的她已经没有那麽辛辣 不是因为她的关系 是大环境使然 她说当初在二十年前 还在戒严 很明显的你知道什麽是错的 什麽时候该发生 知道什麽是黑的什麽是白的 而现在...当初的那些夥伴 现在也都变成了灰色的 大家都是正确时 可是偏偏大家的理念上的不同 而不知道该如何分辨究竟什麽是黑什麽是白 大家只是黑一点的白 争辩...双方也都是朋友 也就是没有所谓的绝对答案 都是相对答案... 也没有所谓的绝对的错 这正是龙应台那天给我最大的震撼 而且她说当时的社会 需要的是一群英雄 而现今的社会上 需要的是一群高素质的公民 大学的泛滥...并没有什麽坏处 以前的大学是培养中流砥柱 以前的大学是赋予国家的未来 而现今的大学则是培养着小钉细木 我先把我的笔记写出来吧 题目：我离世界有多远 主讲人：龙应台 一开始她先去同步的教室打声招呼 她觉得她们在那边 应该会很难融入 个子不高... 她那天也才刚从香港回来 忍不住要抱怨依下国家的大门--国际机场 她说每扇门都很脏 残破肮脏 敞开给国际的大门竟是如此污秽 或许这只是跟其他国家比较的结果吧 一开始提到的是尼采的查拉图斯特拉如是说 她说当初她在大学时总是要装深刻 所以会念尼采或是沙特等人的书 当时总是要讨论着存在与虚无才会觉得深刻... 沙特的存在与虚无内文提到 "人除了必须是他自己之外 其余什麽都不是" 龙应台说...沙特是透过虚无的绝对来积极的入世 好像中国古代的某人..不过我不知道... 後来提及了她经历很多的历史大事 例如柏林围墙 她说当围墙倒了 於是开始审判着当时的围墙守卫 法官说他们有罪 因为他们射杀想从东德逃亡到西德的人们 虽然他们只是遵从国法而已 判决书却是写着 良知应该要在国法之上.... 每个人都要为自己的行为负责 在这边出现了一段小插曲 就是从一开始到现在的麦克风就会有时有声音 有时没声音 我们也只能听着忽有忽无的声音.... 换了两支麦克风也还是如此 於是她说... 这mic是必须如此吗 如果是这样的话 那我就只能继续下去 令我觉得真是有趣的反应... 後来他就继续着她的演讲 她说七零年代的人是被五四运动的人影响 当初很重要的一本书是罗家伦的新人生观 基本上我还是没看过 在中国思想中 70年代的大学生所需要的是 道德的勇气--能在昏暗中看出光亮 知识的责任 侠--出於伟大的同情 我很喜欢第三样的侠是出於伟大的同情 现今的社会 侠气都已经淡的看不清楚了 自己也缺乏着侠气 伟大的同情... 而不是慈悲的怜悯... 当初影响很大的另一件书是 蒋总统的佳言录 她说不要小看这本书 因为里面有很多都是前人 王阳明的学说 生活的目的在增进人类全体之生活 生命的意义在创造宇宙继起之生命 我想应该还是很多人记得... 因为我是其中一个 哈哈 ~~~ Small mind talk about people. Average minds talk about events, while great minds discuss ideas. ---Eleanor Roosevelt 这是罗斯福夫人说过的话 这也是影响她满大的一段话 提到如此已经进入了现今的大学生 就跟我一开始说过的一样 她认为现今的大学生就是要当个高素质的公民 有了领导 也得需要大量愿意遵守领导的人 以前是军权时代 需要像是贵族来领导 现在是民主时代 需要大量的高素质公民 民主这一词远在孔子的时代就有了 她问我们雅典和斯巴达的年代 我们回答不出来 只知道西元前 她就说是大约是孔子的年代 可是我们还是不知道究竟是几年~~~ 孔子 BC 551 – 479 Pericles or Perikles (c. 495 BC - 429 BC, Greek) 在雅典人纪念死去的战争英雄的一次集会上，伯里克利作了演讲： 「我们的国体之所以被称作民主，是因为权力不是被少数人、而是被所有人民所掌握。当 私人纠纷产生时，所有人在法律面前一律平等。正像我们的政治生活是自由而开放的那样 ，日常生活中我们的人与人之间的关系也是如此……在这里每一个个人不但对他自己的私 事感兴趣，也对整个社稷的大事感兴趣。」 讲这麽多只是要我们知道民主这两个字在很久以前就有了 Pericles是雅典的国王 上述的引文是他在国殇演讲中对着阵亡的将士还有瘟疫而死的人所说的 Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe. ---by H. Wells, Outline of History (1920) English author, historian, & utopian (1866 - 1946) 最近的几十年发生最大的变化 她觉得是民主化和全球化 刚刚提完了民主化 全球化提到的不多 主要是空间距离上的改变 所以国家主权疆域的观念也跟着改变 像是欧盟.... 後面的结尾她期待我们有着critical thinking 成功有着很多的定义 并不一定要赚很多钱 或是有名声才叫成功 她语重心长的说 或许你喜欢关心环境 那为何不去中国大陆的内陆 那边有着沙漠化的苦恼...之类的 下面这是Martin Luther(马丁路德的引文) 一些教育的目的 不想全看的话 就只要看我high light的地方就好了 那是龙应台特别提出来的话... http://0rz.tw/232g2 "The Purpose of Education" January-February 1947 Atlanta, Ga. Citing the example of Georgia's former governor Eugene Talmadge, he asserts that reasoning ability is not enough. He insists that character and moral development are necessary to give the critical intellect humane purposes. King, Sr., later recalled that his son told him, "Talmadge has a Phi Beta Kappa key, can you believe that? What did he use all that precious knowledge for? To accomplish what?" As I engage in the so-called "bull sessions" around and about the school, I too often find that most college men have a misconception of the purpose of education. Most of the "brethren" think that education should equip them with the proper instruments of exploitation so that they can forever trample over the masses. Still others think that education should furnish them with noble ends rather than means to an end. It seems to me that education has a two-fold function to perform in the life of man and in society: the one is utility and the other is culture. Education must enable a man to become more efficient, to achieve with increasing facility the ligitimate goals of his life. Education must also train one for quick, resolute and effective thinking. To think incisively and to think for one's self is very difficult. We are prone to let our mental life become invaded by legions of half truths, prejudices, and propaganda. At this point, I often wonder whether or not education is fulfilling its purpose. A great majority of the so-called educated people do not think logically and scientifically. Even the press, the classroom, the platform, and the pulpit in many instances do not give us objective and unbiased truths. To save man from the morass of propaganda, in my opinion, is one of the chief aims of education. Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction. The function of education, therefore, is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. But education which stops with efficiency may prove the greatest menace to society. The most dangerous criminal may be the man gifted with reason, but with no morals. The late Eugene Talmadge, in my opinion, possessed one of the better minds of Georgia, or even America. Moreover, he wore the Phi Beta Kappa key. By all measuring rods, Mr. Talmadge could think critically and intensively; yet he contends that I am an inferior being. Are those the types of men we call educated? We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education. The complete education gives one not only power of concentration, but worthy objectives upon which to concentrate. The broad education will, therefore, transmit to one not only the accumulated knowledge of the race but also the accumulated experience of social living. If we are not careful, our colleges will produce a group of close-minded, unscientific, illogical propagandists, consumed with immoral acts. Be careful, "brethren!" Be careful, teachers! PD.
