hello... I had my first lesson today from 11am to 1 am, and have just finished my lunch now. The course I am taking is "Introductory Biology", and looks like it's not going to be easy at all! The lecturer gave us a brife review of some baseic chemistry related to biology, fortunately,I have learned them already in our Organisc Chemistry, and was able to catch up with the class. Yet in regards to what the teacher said today, I believe there is going to be lots of hard work, either working on my own or with a study group. I feel a bit scared. Though I guess if I spend lots of time on my textbook, I might be able to pass the exams, yet that is definitely not what the teacher requests. There are problems to solve,and I don't expect them to be easy to me, especially when dealing with something like "critical thinking" or "personal opinions",I am hopelss! Anyway....since there is no way of withdrawing, I have to try to be a little more brave and positive to learn more here. I am taking my tennis lesson ,too, in the evening, and I hope to rent or borrow a violin to join the orchestra. Hope I could pass the audition. They are playing Rachmaninoff's Piano concerto no.2 this summer as one of the performing pieces. How exciting! Wish I could be part of it. Though I was planning to do many activities here, yet I am afraid that I might end up spending all free time studying if I can not catch up with the course!
