Requires a B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science. Guaranteed fellowship for five years starting at 18,000 USD/year plus benefit and tuition waiver. Department of Chemical Engineering at UC is located in a brand new Engineering Research Center with excellent facility. The individual will get the opportunity to travel and participate in national meetings, and work closely with scientists in various disciplines in the NSF funded membrane center and MEMS center in UC.
