UBS is Searching Part-Time Attachment for In-house Ecology Student Program Introduction of In-house Ecology The Environment is one of our Corporate Responsibilities at UBS and it is supported by the UBS Environmental Policy to ensure that in all our business dealings we act in an environmentally responsible manner. UBS is the only bank to be certified to the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems. In-house Ecology is an organization within Corporate Center (within the Corporate Real Estate & Administrative Services Department) that is responsible for managing UBS's impact on the environment from its in-house operations and supply chain. Scope for the Program Student - Participate in the part-time in-house ecology student program and report directly to Global In-house Ecology APAC representative and work alongside the local environmental managers. - Assist the regional in-house ecology representative as well as local environmental managers as required. - Administer overall Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) including system set up, legal register updates, data capture, requirements and improvements identification. - Coordinate with local environmental service providers and certification bodies e.g. ERM, SGS. - Maintain the In-house Ecology Sharepoint and In-house Ecology Intranet. - Implement and support in-house ecology strategies and policies and assist with environmental program. - Organize events and build partnerships with other departments such as Group Technology, Supply & Demand Management, Community Affairs as well as external organizations e.g. WWF. - Assist with Green Month campaigns and internal audit.
