A reminder about the exam this Friday: 1) The exam will cover all the material so far, and will include (a) a poem by Petrarch, (b) a section of questions about facts and dates, and (c) short answer questions about a variety of topics and themes discussed in class. Please review all texts and notes. [Petrarch-Erasmus-Rabelais-Montaigne] 2) You will NOT be permitted to use notes or books in class. 3) It is understandable that you may want to use some English-Chinese device, but you are NOT allowed to use any device that goes on-line. An electronic dictionary is OK, but some kind of computer is NOT. 4) There will be NO TALKING, discussing, or helping each other out during the exam!!
