诚徵 大一英文 教学助理
1. 项亚伦老师:2或3名TA。
条件:TAs should have strong verbal and aural skills. They need to be willing
to keep a grade sheet. They will help manage group work while the Professor
does more intensive oral exam work with a select group of students. A TA needs
to be able to attend at least one hour of at least two of my courses.

possibly a long distance call (with me footing the bill, of course).
2. 胥嘉陵老师:1名TA,研究生优先考虑。
条件:
(1) meeting with students individually or in small groups three hours
a week to help correct their pronunciation and grammar and help
prepare them for an oral presentation;
(2) screening routine student questions and problems, and providing
one-on-one consultation for students encountering problems in their
learning;
(3) helping proofread the English role play scripts written by
students;
(4) helping manage student e-mail and moderate online discussions;
(5) digitizing class materials and doing Website maintenance;
(6) helping with media equipment and software;
(7) marking and monitoring students' assignments, preparing the
scoring criterion and transcription of each listening assignment, and
recording the grades;
(8) helping with bureaucratic requirements, and liaison with the
department and university.

3. 唐碧洁老师:3名TA。
条件:Project Instructor Rebecca Tang is seeking a teaching assistant for
her Freshman English course for non-majors. The period of employment is
9/2008-1/2009 (fall semester). Applicants must be juniors, seniors or graduate
students and may be from any major. Highly developed English skills are
required; native-like skills are preferred. The TA will be responsible for
course administration (grading, data entry) as well as for helping students
inside and outside of class develop their English skills and successfully
complete course assignments. Working duties will average 8-10 hours per week.
Applicants should send an email in English regarding their interest with an
attached English language resume and/or any questions about the position to the

the first week of September.
