课程名称︰西洋哲学史二 课程性质︰系必修 课程教师︰杨植胜 开课学院：文学院 开课系所︰哲学系 考试日期（年月日）︰20140619 考试时限（分钟）：180 是否需发放奖励金：是 （如未明确表示，则不予发放） 试题 : 问答题（60分） 以下六道问题任选四题回答！每满分为 15 分； 回答超过 四题者 ，以得分较高 之 四题计分 。 1.如果你读过乔斯坦．贾德（Jostein GaarderJostein）的《苏菲世界》（Sophie's Worlds），那麽用你所理解的柏克莱（George Berkeley）的哲学来解释苏菲的世界是 　怎样的世界！（如果你不曾读过，那就－也只能这样跳一题 ！） 2. 休姆（David Hume）在年纪很轻的廿三到六岁时就着手撰写他的哲学巨着《人性论》 　（Treatise of Human Nature）。 (1) 整体来说，这本书 所要处理的是什麽样的哲学课题？ (2) 用前述的哲学课题来介绍《人性论》的大概内容！ 3. 休姆认为一般人所谓理性（reason）与感性（passion）之间的冲突根本就是「一则形 上学家的神话」。 (1) 难道我们的理性与感之间没有冲突吗？休姆凭什麽说它是神话？ (2) 你是否同意休姆的说法？为什麽？ 4. 康德（Immanuel Kant）的名言说：「没有内容的思想是空洞的，没有概念的直观是盲 　 目的。」（ Thoughts without content are empty, intuitions without concepts are blind） (1) 这句名言是要讲康德哲学里人类所具有的哪些认知能力？ (2) 这句名言是要表达甚麽意思？ 5. 关於因果关系（causation）的问题， (1) 休姆如何说明因果关系？ (2) 康德如何说明因果关系？ (3) 康德如何批评休姆对因果关系的说明？ 6. 康德的义务论伦理学主张道德行为就是「出於义务而行 」（to act from duty）的行 为，而出於义务就是服膺道德令式，而道德令是一种「定言令式」（categorical 　 imperative），所以道德行为就是服膺定言令式的行为。我们知道，不像假言令式有很 多种，定言令式只有一种，却有不同的表述方式。 (1) 用你的话写出定言令式两种表述方并加以说明！ (2) 举一个现代世界或台湾社会所发生的不道德行为的具体案例（提醒你尽量用阅卷者也 会知道的 案例），用上述两个表方式来说明何以该案例的行为是不道德！ 翻译题（40分） 以下四道英文段落均出自 Anthony Kenny, A New History of Western Philosophy: The Rise of Modern Philosophy (Oxford University Press, 2008)，出处的页码注明於每 一题的末尾；参考其上下文脉络翻译为可理解的中文！每题满分为 10 分。 ￣￣￣￣ 注意： (1) 这是翻译题，不宜以全盘改写的方式作答；如须说明可以括号或译注方式为之！ (2) 专有名词中的人与地名可以不中译，直接英文表示！ (3) 每段最後括号注明的出处毋须在译文里再注明或翻译！ 1.
